Examination into the Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedules
On 31 October 2013 Caerphilly County Borough Council, jointly with Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council, submitted their Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedules to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) for Examination.
In due course, all examination documents will be made available on the examination webpages.
Inspector appointed
Planning Inspector Mr Philip Staddon BSc, Dip, MBA, MRTPI has been appointed to conduct the Examination. His role is to consider all the evidence and to produce a report for the council giving his recommendations for action.
Programme Officer
The examination process is being adminstered by the Programme Officer, Helen Simmonds, who is independent to the process and will be working directly with the Inspector.
The examination process
The council is awaiting further information regarding the dates for examination hearing sessions. It is anticipated that the examination will take place towards the end of January 2014.
