The Examination Process
On 31 October 2013, Caerphilly County Borough Council and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council submitted their Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule to the Planning Inspectorate for joint independent examination.
Inspector appointed
Mr Philip Staddon BSc, Dip, MBA, MRTPI has been appointed as the independent Examiner to conduct the joint examination of the CIL Draft Charging Schedule.
Examination hearing
The Examination Hearing will commence at 9.30am on Tuesday 14 January 2014 at Caerphilly County Borough Council, Ty Pontllanfraith, Blackwood, NP12 2YW

Hard copies of the examination library can be viewed at the council offices or through the Programme Officer based in Tredomen Business and Technology Centre. Alternatively, all examination documents are available to view free of charge in local libraries and Customer Service Centres.
